Refuse/Recycling Collections happen every Friday, alternating between "blue" & "green" weeks.
"Blue" weeks are for black bags (domestic refuse) + green boxes (cans, foil, glass) + food caddies.
"Green" weeks are for clear bags (plastics, paper, card, textiles) + garden waste bags (max 4) + food caddies.

Our nearest recycling centres are at Lawford and Shrub End, Colchester.

Colchester is open on more days, but Lawford is generally less busy and more user-friendly, if you make sure to pick a day when they are open!
